Thomas  Lyon was a member of the Conservative and Unionist Women's Franchise Association (CUWFA), who lived at 17 Pittville Villas, Cheltenham; he was a signatory of the 1912 book presented to Sir James Agg Gardner, in recognition of his support for women's suffrage (Gloucestershire Archives, catalogue reference D5130/6/6).

On the 1911 census he was listed as married, and his occupation was given as Tutor Church of Enlgand training college. Image published in Cheltenham Who's Who (1911).

He died on 7 January 1932.
