Arthur James Hyatt was a supporter of women's suffrage, who lived at 2 Portland Terrace, Pittville, Cheltenham; he was a signatory of the 1912 Agg Gardner book held at Gloucestershire Archives, catalogue reference D5130/6/6.

On the 1911 census he was listed as widowed, and his occupation was house decorator.
