John Bartlett lived at 35 Clarence Square, Pittville in 1837, but probably on a very short lease, as he took out a subscription allowing him to take the waters in the Pittville Gardens for only a fortnight. He is most likely to be the John Bartlett (1793-1861) who was Rector of Buildwas in Shropshire and Vicar of Spratton in Northamptonshire. But there were several other clergymen at the time who might also have a claim. ▶Moved to Pittville from: Moved from Pittville to: ▶Date of death: Place of death: ▶Date of burial: Place of burial: ▶Notes: https://www.change.org/p/return-the-bartlett-fountain-to-ironbridge-square ID: 19440 Contributor(s): John Simpson
