D. G. Newton and Miss H. N. Davies Many friends were present at the wedding at Leckhampton Church, Cheltenham, today, of Captain Donald Gregory Newton, Gloucestershire Regiment, and Miss Hazel Noel Davies. The bridegroom is a son of the late Mr. W. H. C. Newton, and of Mrs. Newton, of 33, Leicester Square, London. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Noel Davies, of The Grange, Marle Hill, Cheltenham. She is a granddaughter of the late Surgeon- General and Mrs. Landale. The Ven. Archdeacon F. W. Sears conducted the service, and the bride was given away by her father. She wore a wine coat and dress, trimmed with silver fox fur and silver fox toque. Her accessories were in black, and she wore a spray of dark red carnations. Mr. F. J. Sharp was best man.
