Lifestory: At the age of two Randolph was living in Norfolk, England. By 1914 he had become manager of the Malibona Tea Plantation in the Kelani Valley, Ceylon. After marrying in Ceylon in 1916 he and his family returned to England occasionally before he settled his family in Cheltenham in 1933. Randolph returned to Ceylon, where he appears to have stayed for the duration of WW2, returning to Cheltenham in 1945.
