Andrew Daubeny, of Backwell House, Somerset, and his second cousin Elizabeth Innys Daubeny. He entered Brasenose College, Oxford, BA 1821, MA 1824. He took holy orders and was ordained Deacon in 1822, and Priest (both Bristol) in 1823. From 1822 he was Curate of All Saints, Bristol, and from 1824 Curate of Chewton Mendip, and of Burrington, Somerset from 1832. He was appointed Chaplain to the Duke of Clarence (later William IV) in 1824. He was married on Jersey to Frances Elizabeth Goodland, and they had two sons. Daubeny lived at 46 Clarence Square, Pittville from about 1841 until 1843.
