In the 1920s she seconded the nomination of Cheltenham's Conserative candidate Sir Walter Preston at the General Election: by 1931 she was Chairman of the Women's Conservative Association locally. At her death, she lived at Lansdown Lea, Lansdown Road, Cheltenham.
