MARRIAGE AT AMBERLEY.—The parish of Amberley was last Tuesday, the 11th., inst enlivened by the marriage of the Rev. Hugh Somerville Gedge, Vicar of All Saints, Leicester, to Miss Georgiana Caroline Clunes, daughter of the late Lieut. Colonel Clunes, of Cheltenham. Notwithstanding the unfavourable weather, the church was well filled, and through the kindness of the Rector and his friends was charmingly decorated. Even the churchyard presented a gay appearance with flags and banners, while a most tasteful arch of flowers spanned the gateway.

Soon after 11 o'clock the bride appeared leaning on the arm of her brother, and followed by six bridesmaids. The bride was attired in cream-coloured foulard satin, and the bridesmaids in pale blue. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Sydney Gedge, father of the bridegroom, assisted by the Ven. Archdeacon Kempthorne, and the Rev. Arthur C. Gabell, brother-in-law of the bride. As the wedding party were leaving the church, the school children scattered flowers and rice profusely in their path. All then repaired to the residence of the bride's mother, Mrs Clunes, where thirty-five sat down to breakfast, Among those present were: Rev. Sydney Gedge, Rev. Wilberforce and Mrs Gedge, the Venerable Archdeacon Kempthorne, Rev. J. J. Luce, Rev. Arthur C. and Mrs Gabell, the Rev. R. J. and Mrs Mooyaart &c. &c.
