R. Gabell, of Anlaby, took place on Tuesday Morning, the 5th inst., at the New Cemetery. The procession consisted of six carriages, and left at 11.30. The services were conducted the Rev. Percival Smith. On the coffin, which was of fine polished oak with bras furniture, was the following inscription: ”Arthur Richard Gabell, died 31st March. 1892, aged 84 years”. There were some exceptionally fine wreaths. The order of procession was as follows, The hearse; first carriage—Mrs. Clunes, Miss Gabell, Mrs Macdonald, the Rev. Arthur Gabell; second carriage—Arthur Macdonald, Esq., Miss Helen Gabell. Miss Flora Macdonald. Miss Bessie Gabell; third carriage—Miss Macdonald, Clarence Macdonald, Esq., Miss Ethel Macdonald, Master Vyvyan Gabell; fourth carriage—General Macdonald, J. H. Gough, Esq., Dr. Cottle; fifth carriage—Col. Davies, G. C. Francis, Esq., F. J. Williams, Esq.; sixth carriage—The Servants. The late Mr A. Gabell remembered in connection with the General and Delancey Hospital, also resided.
